Red TOPOIBERIA-IberArray: estudios integrados de geodinámica y estructura de la placa Ibérica
We propose to establish a Topo-Iberia Network to achieve aims such as: -To continue the inter-relationship built up among the 10 groups participating in the Consolider Topo-Iberia Project. -To complete the explotation of the new datasets acquired in the project, particularly from its instrumentary platform IberArray -To update the management and access to ‘IberArray’ databases already existing and foreseen shortly -To complete the building up of elements of synthesis, such as structural transects including new results already published or in press, coming from Topo-Iberia and related projects -To fix up the use of the ‘IberArray’ instrumental networks (Agreement framework and protocols for internal and external user teams), which are a basic element for a continued observation and monitoring of the Iberian plate and geodynamic surroundings. -To increase studies on inter-relationship between superficial and deep tectonic processes, and to develop analysis tools on their implications on aspects of Societal challenges, especially on an efficient management of subsoil (natural ressources, residuals, hazards). This would allow also to increase the relationship of the academic comunity with society, policy makers and industrial sectors involved. -To prolonge the explotation and scientific prospective of the label Topo-Iberia within the international community, maintaining it as a reference with respect to new initiatives of the Horizon2020, such as TopoEurope2020. -To build up a critical mass of multidisciplinary and integrated scientific teams, appropriated for applying to the various calls of the H2020 programme. -To consolidate the kernel of the EPOS-Spain component, in front of the new stage of this EPOS-ESFRI Project, which has been identified as one of the three with topmost priority and funding for its implementation phase, to start on 201
